Wine found me at the dinner table before I was old enough to drink it. Growing up, it was always there - part of the ritual of gathering, hosting, and being together. When I finally got to explore it for myself, I started exactly where most people do: the grocery store aisle. From Trader Joe's finds and hosting TV watch parties in my college apartment to a Sonoma trip at 22 that genuinely changed everything, my relationship with wine grew one glass at a time.
That curiosity became a commitment. Over the last four years I've gone deep: reading, studying, and earning my WSET Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in Wines, both with Merit.
But what drives me most isn't credentials. It's the moments I've watched someone feel like wine wasn't for them, and knowing it absolutely could be. I've seen the wine world make people feel unwelcome, and I've made it my mission to push back on that. Nothing beats good wine, good company, and making lasting (if not slightly fuzzy) memories.
